Celebrate African culture and heritage through captivating, vibrant statement jewelry with Simone’s Boutique, based in Harlem.  My name is Danielle William-Thiam and I celebrate Afrocentric beauty by designing necklaces, earrings and bracelets that can be worn from the boardroom, to the protest, to a night out. My designs utilize African trade beads from Ghana, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Senegal and the Ivory Coast as well as semi-precious gemstone beads from across the globe – all which have a unique culture, spirituality, history and legacy that is celebrated in each piece.  Simone’s Boutique started in 2012 and has been featured in Harlem Fashion Week’s Celebration of Black Fashion, the Etsy Market NYHC Holiday Look Book and Afrobella’s Blackout Friday Shopping Guide.

Jean Marie Sanchez is Creator in Chief of Little Feet's Opus, LLC.  A greeting card company that she launched in 2016; which offers beautifully illustrated greeting cards, totes, pouches, art prints and much more all with Jean's artistry and poetry emblazoned on every item.    She launched her wholesale line in 2019. An architectural designer by trade, Jean has been journaling and sketching for as long as she can remember. A lover of all things paper - from greeting cards, journals, to lifestyle gifts, she instinctively knew creating in this space would be organic for her.  In 2016 she began pairing her poems with her signature art, Afro Angels to create greeting cards. Each card designed has an origin story that is born of her life’s experience.  Her words are always from the heart and contain spiritual, empowering and uplifting messages. The art images reflect the women in her life; her sisters, aunts, mom and friends. She was excited about adding diversity to an industry that she loved.  There was space for her creative voice and a void that it could fill. She believes that representation matters, consumers are craving diversity and that her line speaks to many, not just those that “look” like her. Her cards and a line of related ephemera can be found at various art museum shops including The National Gallery of Art Museum located in  Washington D.C. and boutiques in the USA and internationally
