The message for Season 8 is “ The Legacy Continues...” On February 15th 2020 at the Museum of the City of New York, Harlem Fashion Week will honor Cultural Icons at the “Black Girl Magic” Charity Gala while creating an opportunity for the next generation of designers by providing a platform for the students from the High School of Fashion Industries to showcase a collection for NYFW.
The proceeds from the Season 8 Honoree-Charity Gala will benefit scholarships for the students at the High School of Fashion Industries. The gala will honor 11 Transformational Women: Inez Dickens, Honorable NYS Assemblywoman, Dee Poku, Founder CEO of WIE, Selena Hill, Digital Journalist/ On- Air Talent, Evetta Petty, Designer/Owner of Harlem's Heaven Hats, Sade Lythcott, CEO The National Black Theatre, Diane Bailey, CEO/ Founder of EMERGE, Angie Hancock, Founder Experience Harlem, Lydia T. Blanco, Digital Journalist/On Air Talent, Mahisha Dellinger, Founder of Curls, Kimberly Wilson Marshall, Founder CEO Wilson Marshall PR, and Rev.
