Cynthia Jackson was born and raised on Long Island, New York. Her flair for fashion began at an early age from her mother, the late Mamie Jackson. A self-taught seam-stress who passed her gift of sewing to her daughters, Cynthia and Donna. CJackson Long Island custom apparel was created in homage to her mother and inspired by her love of art. Cynthia refers herself as an artist as some of her creations are just that to her, works of art. Her passion for Native American culture is a strong influence in her designing as well as Urban and African anesthetics. Cynthia's education has led to a long fulfilling career in the medical field but she has embarked on a journey that has put her designs on the runways from Long island to Manhattan Time Square and graced the pages of many magazines. It is Cynthia's Faith and courage that has put her on the path to her true purpose and passion. Humbly launching her brand and fulfilling her mother's dream has opened up a world that has embraced her and her talent.
