Audrey Weaver is a fashion designer living in New York City. She creates specialty accessories featuring Artisan scarves & hats. After receiving a BA degree in Fashion from Radford University in Virginia, she moved to New York to pursue a career in the fashion industry in which she worked for major manufacturing companies in design & technical design positions in the men’s & women’s wear markets Audrey later created Scarfdressing, her accessory line. She adapted the phrase “Scarfdressing” it describes how a person can wear her scarf designs creatively to fit in one’s lifestyle. The innovative line consists of handcrafted Artisan scarf and hat styles in a variety of fabrics, colors, & patterns. The styles are unique, trendy, and fashionable. In previous years Audrey received editorial credits for her scarf designs in publications such as Essence, The New York Times & others. They were also sold to stores and boutiques across the country such as Nordstrom’s & Bloomingdale’s. The styles are now sold at select venues and through the website. Audrey believes a scarf can be one’s best friend. Her customers enjoy a “Happy Hat wearing experience” in the “hair friendly” styles.
