Walter J. Dixon – Founder & CEO, ATASHI
Walter J. Dixon is a visionary designer, educator, and creative disruptor who weaves together fashion, identity, and radical self-expression. As the Founder and CEO of ATASHI, a GenderFluid luxury label, Walter crafts garments that are romantic, passionate, and unafraid; an ode to those who live beyond binaries.

After earning his Master of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Walter further sharpened his technical and design acumen at top fashion brands including New York & Company and One Jeanswear Group. Dixon later unveiled ATASHI as both a personal manifesto and a platform to challenge gendered fashion norms with poetic, inclusive design.

Deeply rooted in Harlem and committed to community, Walter mentors emerging talents at the High School of Fashion Industries, where he teaches the next generation of designers to create with conviction and cultural awareness.

With ATASHI, Walter J. Dixon invites the world to see fashion as a form of healing and resistance, where every stitch affirms Black, queer, and GenderFluid brilliance.
